Homs | Regime forces launch arrest campaign against those wanted for compulsory service

Homs province: SOHR activists have reported that regime’s security services launched arrest campaign against several young man wanted for “compulsory service” from Deir Ba’laba and Al-Saan cities in northern Homs countryside.

On November 3, SOHR activists reported that regime forces arrested 15 people from Mahin and Al-Qaryatain cities in eastern Homs countryside to make them undergo “compulsory service.”

On October 27, SOHR sources reported that regime soldiers stationed at the notorious security checkpoint of “Mankat Al-Hatab” released two civilians, who were arrested yesterday at the checkpoint, where the civilians’ families paid large ransoms for their release.

SOHR sources reported that members of the regime’s security service arrested a civilian for “evading mandatory conscription” in Al-Suwaidaa national hospital in Al-Suwaidaa city where he was receiving medical treatment.
