To open “Reconciliation Centre” | Reconciliation Committee meets governor of Homs and civil and military figures

Homs province: SOHR activists have reported that the “Reconciliation Committee” in Homs held a meeting with several dignitaries of the city and its countryside, in the presence of the governor of Homs, the head of the “Security Committee”, Major General “Hossam Loqa”, representatives of the 4th Division and the judge of the “Military Individual.”

According to reliable SOHR sources, the meeting resulted in several decisions, including the opening of a “Reconciliation Centre” for civilians and fighters who fled from the regime in Al-Ma’ared city in Al-Waer neighborhood in Homs, and it is supposed to start operating next Sunday according to the decree of the “Presidential Pardon” “.

Moreover, the defector fighters were given a chance of “Stop Pursue” for a month before surrendering themselves to the Military, and those fleeing the “reserve” or “compulsory” services are to be given six months. However, the reconciliation of civilians would be presented to the regime’s Intelligence branches to settle their conditions, provided there are no personal claims.

The reconciliation does not include criminal sentences and “drug” crimes, and n accordance with these decisions, instructions are announced to all checkpoints in the city of Homs not to attack anyone who wishes to undergo reconciliation.
