To discuss deportation of foreigners | US delegation visits Al-Hawl camp in Al-Hasakah countryside

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that a US delegation visited Al-Hawl camp, which is present in south eastern of Al-Hasakah, to discuss the mechanism of deportation of foreigners in camps in northern and eastern of Syria to their countries, the security conditions, means of providing aids and security necessities and working to find permanent solutions in the region.

The delegation included US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Goldrich, and a team specialized in civil, humanitarian and terrorism affairs, and deportation of foreigners.

On October 20, SOHR activists reported that the US High Representative visited the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration in NE Syria in Al-Qamishly city northern of Al-Hasakah.
According to reiable SOHR sources, the High Representative met heads of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration, deputies and the head of Executive Board of Syrian Democratic Council to discuss the latest escalation witnessed by SDF-held areas including direct attacks and ground escalation, and to discuss situations of ISIS families in camps and prisons of the Autonomous Administration and the mechanism of returning them to their countries, in addition to discussing the work to find a comprehensive solution to the Syrian issue based on the UN Resolution No. 2254, and confirming the continuation of logistic and military support to areas of NE Syria.
It is worth noting that the visit coincided with public protests in Al-Qamishly city that erupted from Al-Kornaish St. towards the Russian base in the airport, against the continuous shelling by Turkish drones on the region.
