After attacking Iranian convoy | Security mobilization of militias with flight of International Coalition planes

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have monitored extensive flight of “International Coalition” planes at low altitude over Deir Ezzor.

On the same context, the area held by Iranian-backed militias witnessed security mobilization of members of Fatimyon militias amid members of Fatimyon militias evacuation their positions in Ayash warehouses and Al-Saaka Camp near Ayash village in western Deir Ezzor countryside. Meanwhile, members of militias deployed in Ayash and Al-Baghiliyah villages, in fear of attacks.

Earlier today, Unidentified aircraft targeted the Syria-Iraq border in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where trucks loaded with weapons and oil tanks of Iranian-backed militias in the customs square in Al-Hari and the military gate in Al-Bokamal countryside, east of Deir Ezzor were targeted.
Airstrikes also hit a military site of Iranian-backed militias near the area, leaving heavy casualties, as 14 people had been confirmed dead so far, mostly Iranian-backed militiamen.
The death toll was believed to rise because of some seriously injured, amid reports on other deaths.
The attack also caused heavy material losses, as airstrikes hit trucks loaded with arms and fuel tankers.

On October 18, SOHR activists reported that an International Coalition helicopter opened machinegun fire on positions near the old airport and Jabal Al-Omal (Al-Omal Mountain), which overlooks neighbourhoods of Deir Ezzor city, where regime forces and Iran-backed militias are stationed, along with the sound of heavy machinegun fire from the Coalition’s base in Koniko gas field in the north of Deir Ezzor.
On August 2022, SOHR documented five airstrikes by coalition aircraft on Iranian-backed militia sites in Deir Ezzor that left 11 militiamen dead and caused material damage to the target sites.
