With clashes on frontlines with SDF | Turkish forces continue ground shelling on villages in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have monitored clashes with heavy weapons between SDF on one hand and Turkish forces and “National Army” factions on the other hand, at the frontlines of Abo Rasen countryside.

SDF members attacked mobile targets and military checkpoints of factions within “Peace Spring” area, amid information of casualties.

On the same context, Turkish forces and the factions expanded shelling on villages on the frontlines, amid displacement of residents towards the eastern countryside of Abo Rasen town, and the Turkish shelling caused huge damages to houses and civilians’ properties and the injury of a civilian and a regime soldier this morning due to attack on military checkpoint in Abo Rasen countryside.

This Turkish shelling comes for the third consecutive day on north western Al-Hasakah countryside, where SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces and their proxies shelled areas in Al-Hasakah countryside, where shells hit Al-Tawila, Tel Tawil, Tel Gomaa western of Tel Tamr, Al-Dirdara, Al-Abosh, Maslata, Al-Shaikh Ali, Assyrian Tel Shinan, Khirbat Al-Shair, Tel Al-Ward, Um Al-Kaif, Kozlaih, Qobor Qarajna, southern countryside of Abo Rasen district and the northern countryside of Al-Boby village. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

Earlier today, Turkish forces deployed east of Ras Al-Ain in “Peace Spring” area renewed their artillery and rocket fire on villages in Abu Rasin countryside, north-west of Al-Hasakah.

The shelling concentrated and focused on the villages of Rabiat, Khirbet Shair, Tel Al-Ward, Dada Abdal and Arab Khan.

Turkish artillery shells hit the “Border Guard” command post in Arab Khan village and the headquarters and a military vehicle of the regime forces were destroyed, leaving no civilian or military casualties
