Planned operation | IS-IS members exe*cute two attacks on two SDF military vehicles in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have monitored attack on two SDF vehicles in an operation by ISIS cells in Al-Hasakah countryside, leaving casualties.

According to details, an IED explosion occurred in an SDF military vehicle in the vicinity of Jabal Abd Al-Aziz (Mountain) western of Al-Hasakah.

On the same context, military forces moved via a vehicle to check the explosion, where unidentified gunmen, likely to belong to ISIS, attacked the vehicle with machineguns, killing one and injuring three others. Ambulance vehicles rushed to the site.

SOHR has documented 171 operations carried out by ISIS, including armed attacks and explosions, in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration since early 2022. According to SOHR statistics, these operations left 127 persons dead: 47 civilians, including two women and a child, and 80 members of SDF, the Internal Security Forces, and other military formations operating in areas under the control of the Autonomous Administration.
It is worth noting that these attacks have not included the operation of Ghuwayran prison, which left heavy losses.
