Fourth day in row | Turkish forces continue to shell SDF-held areas in NW of Al-Hasakah countryside

Al-Hasakah province: Turkish forces and their proxy factions have renewed their rocket attack on areas controlled by Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and regime forces in Abu Rasin (Zarkan) countryside, north-west of Al-Hasakah.

In the early hours of Thursday morning, Turkish rockets hit areas in the villages of Tel Al-Barair and Khirbet Al-Ward, causing material damages only.

It is worth noting that Turkish forces continue to shell areas controlled by SDF for the fourth consecutive day.

Yesterday, SOHR activists monitored clashes with heavy weapons between SDF on one hand and Turkish forces and “National Army” factions on the other hand, at the frontlines of Abo Rasen countryside.

SDF members attacked mobile targets and military checkpoints of factions within “Peace Spring” area, amid information of casualties.

In the same context, Turkish forces and the factions expanded shelling on villages on the frontlines, amid displacement of residents towards the eastern countryside of Abo Rasen town, and the Turkish shelling caused huge damage to houses and civilians’ properties and the injury of a civilian and a regime soldier this morning due to attack on a military checkpoint in Abo Rasen countryside.
