Having disclosed corruption on social media |  Military police arrest two civilians in northern Aleppo

Members of the military police in Mare’ city in “Euphrates Shield” area in the northern countryside of Aleppo have arrested two civilians for creating pages on social media, on which they disclosed corruption and nepotism in local councils in the city. The fate of the two men remains unknown.

 

On November 6, Observatory activists reported that members of a military police stationed at a checkpoint at the entrance to Azaz city arrested a resident from Palmyra in Homs countryside, while he was on his way from Al-Bab city to Azaz city, for unknown charges.

 

Moreover, a military police patrol arrested another civilian from Al-Bokamal city in Deir Ezzor countryside while he was in Al-Bab city for “broadcasting a video while passing in front of the patrol.”
