Security chaos | Civilian kil-led by unidentified gunmen in Al-Daraway countryside

Daraa province: SOHR activists have reported that unidentified gunmen directly shot a civilian in the northern neighbourhood of Jassim city in northern Daraa countryside, killing him immediately.

It is worth noting that the victim previously with local factions before undergoing reconciliation with the regime on 2018.

This comes in light of the ongoing security chaos in Daraa and regime-held areas.

Since early 2022, the number of attacks documented by SOHR in Daraa province has risen to 477, which left 434 people dead; and they are as follows:
• 195 civilians, including four women and ten children.
• 163 regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services, and members with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.
• 41 former fighters who did not join any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.
• 22 ex-ISIS members and collaborators.
• Eight unidentified people.
• Five militiamen of the Russian-backed 5th Corps.
