Strangled by wool | Young man commits sui-cide in Al-Shaafa town in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that a young man committed suicide by strangling himself by a peace of wool inside his house in Al-Shaafa town in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, and he was taken to the hospital before dying.

This comes in light of the escalating rate of suicide incidents throughout Syria, because of the disastrous conditions, worsening economic hardship and psychological pressures.

Earlier today, a young man committed suicide by having “rice tablet” (tablet of Aluminum Phosphide which is readily available as a fumigant for stored cereal grains) inside his home in Ablin town in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Idlib, due to psychological pressures, according to local sources.
On October 18, SOHR activists reported that the residents of Kafr Takharim town in north-western Idlib which is under the control of Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham found the body of a 17-year-old boy in his house. The boy committed suicide by hanging himself for unknown motives and causes.
