Deir Ezzor | “International Coalition” warplanes and drone fly over the region

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have monitored extensive flight of “International Coalition” warplanes and a drone at low altitude over cities and towns of eastern Deir Ezzor countryside.

On November 12, SOHR sources reported seeing fighter jets and reconnaissance drones of the International Coalition flying over SDF-controlled areas in the eastern and western countryside of Deir Ezzor for unknown reasons.

This coincided with boosting positions of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps in Deir Ezzor countryside.

SOHR activists reported that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has reinforced their posts in Deir Ezzor countryside, where they erected soil barriers and dug trenches nearby Ayyash training centre. In addition, the Afghan militia of “Liwaa Fatemiyoun” has boosted its headquarters and posts of in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, fearing potential attacks.
