Goodwill gesture | Protestors in Al-Bab city extend deadline to expose murd-erers of Abo Ghanom

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that revolutionary and civil activities in Al-Bab city showed a goodwill gesture with the institutions responsible in “National Army” areas, where the protesting camp was removed and showed through a video tape from inside the camp, and the period given to the institutions to reveal the results of the investigation of the murder of Muhammed Abo Ghanom and his family was extended to November 25, and start implementing security plan in Al-Bab city and deploy members to protect the city.

Earlier today, Military and Civil police officers by force of arms tried to remove the sit-in tent set up by the residents of Al-Bab city near the Center roundabout where the protesters demand that the killers of the media activist “Abu Ghanum” be held accountable, and the military police used tear gas to disperse the demonstrators.
This led to a clash between the people and the military police to prevent the removal of the sit-in tent.
According to Syrian Observatory activists, protesters confronted the military police, chanting slogans of “Shabiha Shabiha,” referring to the military police and accusing them of working to muffle voices demanding that Abu Ghanum’s killers be held accountable and exposing the leaders involved and ordered the killing of Abu Ghanum.
This morning, Military police declared a state of high alert to prevent people from staging demonstrations in Al-Bab city as media activists and the residents of Al-Bab city have called for these protests to demand the uncover the killers of media activist “Abu Ghanum” and holding accountable the leaders of Al-Hamza faction involved in the assassination.
According to SOHR activists, Turkish intelligence asked military police commanders yesterday to deploy its personnel extensively near the centre roundabout, which the residents of Al-Bab called “Abu Ghanum” roundabout and deploy armoured vehicles on the roads leading to the centre roundabout and intensifying patrols in the city’s streets to prevent the people from heading to the scene of the demonstration.
The case of the killing of media activist Abu Ghanoum sparked outrage among residents in areas under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions in “Euphrates Shield” and “Olive Branch” areas after leaders of “Al-Hamza Division” were involved in the assassination.
