Deir Ezzor | SOHR reveals identity of IS-IS commander who was field exec-uted

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that residents recognized the body they found yesterday.

According to reliable SOHR sources, the body belongs to an ISIS commander, who was field executed by ISIS cells and dumbed between Mashikh and Al-Takihy villages in northern Deir Ezzor countryside within SDF-held areas.

Moreover, the ISIS commander had been getting threatened by ISIS cells due to internal disputes regarding distribution of money of investors of oil wells, and imposing royalties on civilians under the pretext of “Al-Zakah”, in addition to drug dealing.

Sources revealed that the victim hails from Daman village in northern Deir Ezzor countryside, where he worked with security services of ISIS and used to collect money, and was also known of committing humanitarian crimes in northern Deir Ezzor countryside, causing civilians to leave their houses in Daman village due to his actions and his corrupted authority.

It is worth noting that the ISIS commander had been kidnapped by unidentified people on November 14, before being field executed a day after being kidnapped.

Yesterday, the residents of Mashekh village in northern Deir Ezzor countryside found a body of an unidentified man dumped on the ground.
It is believed that the man was killed by ISIS cells. The body of the unidentified man was transferred to the mosque of Al-Ahmar village in northern Deir Ezzor countryside.
