Recurrent event | Regime forces block US patrol in Al-Hasakah countryside

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported that regime forces blocked a US patrol of five military vehicles, preventing it from crossing into Al-Damkhiyah village in Al-Qamishli countryside in Al-Hasakah countryside. The patrol therefore took another way to the village, while no skirmishes were reported.

On November 16, SOHR activists reported that members of a regime checkpoint and civilians intercepted a US patrol comprising six armoured vehicles, in Khuwailad village in eastern Al-Hasakah countryside. Meanwhile, the patrol changed its route and headed in a different direction without the occurrence of clashes.

A few hours earlier, members of a checkpoint of the regime forces and armed loyalists intercepted a US military patrol of four armoured vehicles in Al-Boladiyah village in the southern countryside of Al-Qamishli.

The members of the checkpoint also threw stones at the patrol, and then the patrol changed its route and took a different route. No quarrels erupted between the two parties.
