Military escalation | Turkish bombardment triggers civilian exodus north-west of Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: Turkish forces and their proxy factions stationed in “Peace Spring” area have fired heavy artillery shells on Abu Rasin town and the villages of Tel Al-Ward and Umm Mahramleh, in SDF-controlled areas north-west of Al-Hasakah.

 

Turkish shelling has triggered the displacement of people to safer areas. No casualties have been reported so far.

 

 

On November 17,  SOHR activists monitored a new series of ground shelling by Turkish forces and their proxies on SDF-held areas in Al-Hasakah countryside, where shells hit the vicinity of Khirbat Dakhil and Tel Ward villages and Abo Rasen town north western of Al-Hasakah. However, no casualties were reported. This came after 48 hours of calmness in the region.
