Second incident in 24 hours | Regime forces intercept coalition patrol in eastern Al-Hasakah countryside
Al-Hasakah province: Syrian Observatory activists have reported that regime forces stationed at a checkpoint and armed men have intercepted a military patrol of the International Coalition of five armoured vehicles while passing through Al-Sibat village in the eastern countryside of Al-Hasakah, forcing the patrol to change its route.
This morning, SOHR sources reported that regime forces blocked a US patrol of five military vehicles, preventing it from crossing into Al-Damkhiyah village in Al-Qamishli countryside in Al-Hasakah countryside. The patrol, therefore, took another way to the village, while no skirmishes were reported.
On November 16, SOHR activists reported that members of a regime checkpoint and civilians intercepted a US patrol comprising six armoured vehicles, in Khuwailad village in eastern Al-Hasakah countryside. Meanwhile, the patrol changed its route and headed in a different direction without the occurrence of clashes.
