Military escalation | Turkish forces and their proxies shell villages in rural Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions stationed in “Peace Spring” area in eastern Al-Hasakah fired artillery shells on positions in six villages in Tel Tamr and Abu Rasin countryside in north-western Al-Hasakah. The targeted villages are Tel Al-Ward, Kherbet Sha’ir, Al-Dardarah, Aboush, Qabbour Al-Qarajenah and Um Al-Kaif. However, no casualties have been reported.

It is worth noting that all areas held by Autonomous Administration of North and North-East Syria and areas where Kurdish forces are deployed in the northern countryside of Aleppo see the mobilization of military formations operating in the area after hours of the most violent Turkish airstrikes since Operation Peace Spring that hit these areas and was followed by intensive ground bombardments concentrated mainly on the north-western countryside of Al-Hasakah.

On Monday morning, Turkish forces renewed their shelling on the countryside of Tel Tamr, north-west of Al-Hasakah.

Turkish forces have targeted the villages of Abush and Qarajneh graves with shells and heavy machine guns. However, no casualties have been reported.
