Amid civilians’ panic and mass exodus | Turkish forces shell villages in Al-Hasakah’s Amuda

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported that Turkish forces stationed at border posts inside Turkish territory shelled, with heavy weapons and Dushka machineguns, the SDF-controlled villages of Al-Bahirah and Tel Hamdoun in the western countryside of Amuda on the road between Al-Darbasiyah town and Amouda in northern Al-Hasakah. However, no further details have been reported yet about the number of casualties and material damage caused by the recent attack.

According to SOHR sources, the latest bombardment triggered panic among the residents, amid mass exodus towards safer areas.

A few hours ago, SOHR sources reported that an “SDF” member was killed and another injured when a Turkish drone executed four airstrikes on areas at two glider airfields in Daiki village and near Belsan Park near Mariti village in the western countryside of Amuda, north of Al-Hasakah province.
