Measures to eliminate I-S-I-S | SDF bans wearing masks and riding motorcycles in Al-Basirah east of Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have banned wandering by motorcycles in Al-Basirah city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. SDF has also prevented “wearing masks” in the markets.

SDF set up more security checkpoints throughout the eastern countryside towns and villages, from Jadid Akidat town to Dhiban.

This morning, Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) units, supported by international coalition helicopters, launched a raid and arrest campaign in the villages of Al-Zar and Al-Tikihi in Deir Ezzor countryside.

In this campaign, SDF raided several homes in search of ISIS cells and clashed with wanted persons, arresting one person. No further details were reported about the number of casualties and material damage caused by the raid.

On November 20, SOHR activists documented the death of a person and the injury of another, when unidentified gunmen believed to be ISIS cells attacked them near Jisr Al-Basira Square eastern of Deir Ezzor within SDF-held areas.
