Stepping up attacks | Turkish drone hit joint military base of coalition and SDF north of Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: Today, a Turkish drone hit a joint military base of the “International Coalition” and Counter-terrorism units in Asthah Al-Wazir area, north of Al-Hasakah city.

According to initial information, the attack left two fighters of anti-terrorism units dead and three others critically injured.

It is worth noting that from this base, patrols set off from to carry out operations against ISIS.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that a Turkish drone attacked a military vehicle in an area which is located tens of metres away from the Russian base in Tel Tamr in north-western Al-Hasakah. The attack caused material damage only.

 

This is the second attack in hours, where a Turkish drone executed four airstrikes on two glider airfields in in the western countryside of Amuda, north of Al-Hasakah province.
