Second drone attack in hours | Turkish strike hit new areas north-east of Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: A Turkish drone has targeted two new areas in SDF-held areas.

According to SOHR activists, the Turkish drone hit two areas in south of Al-Odah oil field and area near Lilan village, south-west of Al-Qahtaniyah north-east of Al-Al-Hasakah.

The plumes of smoke rose from the two areas. This attack caused serious material damage to the target area.

Hours ago, a Turkish drone hit a joint military base of the “International Coalition” and Counter-terrorism units in Asthah Al-Wazir area, north of Al-Hasakah city.

According to initial information, the attack left two fighters of anti-terrorism units dead and three others critically injured.

It is worth noting that from this base, patrols set off to carry out operations against ISIS.

Yesterday, SOHR sources reported that a Turkish drone attacked a military vehicle in an area which is located tens of metres away from the Russian base in Tel Tamr in north-western Al-Hasakah. The attack caused material damage only.

This is the second attack in hours, where a Turkish drone executed four airstrikes on two glider airfields in the western countryside of Amuda, north of Al-Hasakah province.
