Clashes with “military security” | 4th Division member “involved in dr*ug dealing” injured in Deir Ezzor city

Deir Ezzor province: Syrian Observatory activists have reported that a member of the “4th Division” working in the drug trade was shot during a raid on his home.

A joint patrol of the regime’s “Military Security” and “State Security” clashed with the drug dealer in Al-Jurah neighbourhood in Deir Ezzor city.

The injured man has been transferred to the military hospital for treatment.

On November 10, SOHR activists documented the death of an assistant of the 4th Division and two other members in the area between Al-Bokamal and Al-Salihiyah.

According to reliable SOHR sources, their bodies were found slaughtered with knives a day earlier, in Al-Kariyah area between Al-Bo Kamal and Al-Salihiyah, where they were deployed at the smuggling crossing to collect ransoms.

The area saw witnessing security mobilization of military checkpoints in the area, amid attempts to cover the accident.

On November 1, SOHR activists reported that members of the “National Army” were arrested by the regime’s “Criminal Security” services, after they stole electricity wires and solar energy panels that were installed by some institutions in Al-Hamidiyah and Al-Shaikh Yassin neighbourhoods in Deir Ezzor within areas of regime forces and loyal militias.

On October 18, SOHR activists reported that National Defence forces besieged buildings of the court, the Criminal Security and the Civil Registry in Al-Mayadin city “Capital of Iran-backed militias” in eastern of Syria, to free one of National Defence’s members after the member was arrested with narcotics in his possession, where members of the Criminal Security arrested him while they were confiscating motorbikes in the city, while the city is still witnessing security tension.
