Military escalation | Turkish forces and their proxies in Euphrates Shield shell three villages in Manbij

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces stationed in Al-Shaikh Nasser village and Turkish-backed factions within “Euphrates Shield” area have fired mortar shells on Al-Boghaz, Kor Hiyok and Al-Kawkly villages in Manbij countryside eastern of Aleppo. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

On November 23, clashes erupted between SDF forces of Manbij military council and the Euphrates Shield factions on Al-Jamosiyah and Al-Sayyadah frontlines in the countryside of Manbij, north-east of Aleppo.
This coincided with mortar shelling by Turkish forces on Jabal Al-Sayyadah in the countryside of Manbij. No casualties were reported.
On November 21, SOHR sources reported that Turkish forces and their proxy factions fired heavy artillery shells on areas controlled by the SDF-backed Manbij Military Council Forces in the eastern countryside of Aleppo. The Turkish bombardment was concentrated on the villages of Korheyuk, Al-Kawikli and Qert Wayran in Manbij countryside in eastern Aleppo. However, no casualties were reported.
