To show humanity | Russian reconciliation centre hands over food baskets on families in a town in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that the Russian reconciliation centre handed over food baskets on 250 families in Al-Mari’iyah town in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside within areas of regime forces and Iran-backed militias.

This comes in light of the attempts by Russia to win over the people and show Russia supporting humanity to rival the Iranian presence in the region.

This is the fourth case of its kind in November, where Russian forces handed over food baskets within their areas.

On November 23, the Russian reconciliation centre distributed 300 food baskets on residents of Kasham village in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside within areas held by regime forces and Iran-backed militias. This came as part of the attempts to win over the people in these areas.
According to residents, this is the tenth time where Russian forces distributed food baskets on residents of regime-held areas in Deir Ezzor during the year.
