Security mobilization | Cells raise IS-IS flag and post leaflets in four villages in Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that ISIS cells raised flags and posted leaflets on electricity poles, that call those who belong to SDF to repent, in Suwaydan, eastern and western Al-Jarzy and Abo Hardob villages in the eastern countryside within SDF-held areas, coinciding with security mobilization in the region.

On November 22, The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) banned wandering by motorcycles in Al-Basirah city in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor. SDF also prevented “wearing masks” in the markets.
SDF set up more security checkpoints throughout the eastern countryside towns and villages, from Jadid Akidat town to Dhiban.
Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) units, supported by international coalition helicopters, launched a raid and arrest campaign in the villages of Al-Zar and Al-Tikihi in Deir Ezzor countryside.
In this campaign, SDF raided several homes in search of ISIS cells and clashed with wanted persons, arresting one person. No further details were reported about the number of casualties and material damage caused by the raid.
On November 20, SOHR activists documented the death of a person and the injury of another, when unidentified gunmen believed to be ISIS cells attacked them near Jisr Al-Basira Square eastern of Deir Ezzor within SDF-held areas.
