Tit-for-tat shelling | SDF and Turkish forces trade fire in Ain Issa and Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) countryside

SOHR activists have reported that SDF and Turkish forces have trade fire in northern Al-Raqqah countryside and eastern Aleppo countryside.

Turkish forces have shelled areas in Ain Issa and areas of its countryside north of Al-Raqqah, Zurmghar and Mazra’at Ahmad Munir in western Kobani in the eastern countryside of Aleppo.

Meanwhile, SDF forces have shelled areas under the control of Turkish forces and their proxy factions of the National Army in “Peace Spring. However, no casualties have been reported so far.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that a Turkish warplane dropped a flare grenade over regime military positions in Tel Jarikly and Saft village western of Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) near borders with Turkey, while Turkish ground forces fired heavy artillery shells on villages on borders in SDF-held areas, where shells hit Jarikly, Zo Maghar and Tel Shair villages western of Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) in eastern Aleppo countryside, amid a state of panic among civilians. However, no casualties were reported.

Earlier yesterday, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces from Turkish territory fired artillery shells on Zor Maghar and Kharab Ataw villages in western Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) countryside.
