After death of regime soldiers | Turkish warplanes fly over Manbij and Euphrates Shield

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that Russian warplanes have been flying over Manbij city in eastern Aleppo countryside, all the way to “Euphrates Shield” areas in Aleppo countryside, after being absent from the region for days.

This comes after a Turkish drone attacked a regime military checkpoint near a Russian base northern of Aleppo, causing the death of five members.

Earlier today, five regime soldiers were killed by a Turkish drone strike that hit a military post in Kashtar village in Sharan district in Afrin countryside, north-west of Aleppo province, where a Russian military base is located.

The death toll was believed to rise as there are other regime soldiers critically injured.

Meanwhile, Turkish forces stationed at Kaljburban base continued to shell the villages of Maranaz, Al-Malikiyah, Al-Shawargha, Meng military airport, the vicinity of Tel Rifaat and Al-Sheikh Issa in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

Turkish aircraft carried out intensive airstrikes, targeting areas where Kurdish and regime forces are deployed in the northern countryside of Aleppo.

Turkish airstrikes hit positions at Meng military airport, Al-Shawargha, Maranaz and Al-Malikiyah. No casualties were reported.
