Coinciding with clashes | Artillery shells hit Tel Refaat and three villages in Aleppo

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces and their proxies fired heavy artillery shells on the vicinity of Tel Refaat district in northern Aleppo countryside, Soghonaki, Al-Mayasa and Zarna’it villages in Shirawa district in Afrin countryside in northern Aleppo countryside.

This comes in light of the eruption of intermittent clashes with heavy and light machineguns between regime forces and “National Army” factions on Tadif frontline in eastern Aleppo countryside.

Earlier today, five regime soldiers were killed by a Turkish drone strike that hit a military post in Kashtar village in Sharan district in Afrin countryside, north-west of Aleppo province, where a Russian military base is located.
The death toll was believed to rise as there are other regime soldiers critically injured.
Meanwhile, Turkish forces stationed at Kaljburban base continued to shell the villages of Maranaz, Al-Malikiyah, Al-Shawargha, Meng military airport, the vicinity of Tel Rifaat and Al-Sheikh Issa in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, Turkish aircraft carried out intensive airstrikes, targeting areas where Kurdish and regime forces are deployed in the northern countryside of Aleppo.
Turkish airstrikes hit positions at Meng military airport, Al-Shawargha, Maranaz and Al-Malikiyah. No casualties were reported.
