Arbitrary arrests | Military and Civil Police arrest four civilians in Afrin countryside

Aleppo province: On November 23, a Turkish intelligence patrol arrested a resident of Al-Ashrafieh neighbourhood in Afrin, north of Aleppo for “dealing with the former “Autonomous -Administration.” It is worth noting that civilian had recently returned from Turkey.

Moreover, members of a military police patrol arrested two residents of Badanli in Raju district on charges of dealing with the former “Autonomous Administration.” one of whom was released after paying a ransom of 300 USD, while the other was still in detention waiting for payment of the ransom.

Furthermore, a Civil police patrol arrested two residents of the villages of Qatarah and Amara in Maabatli district, one for “dealing with the former “Autonomous Administration” and the other for “a social media post.” One of them was released after paying a ransom of 200 USD.
