Mu*rders in regime-held areas | Son and his friend ki-lls his elderly mother in Deir Ezzor city

Deir Ezzor province: Syrian Observatory sources have revealed details of the murder that committed on the 19th of November. The victim was an elderly woman in her sixtieth in Al-Joura medical district of Deir Ezzor.

According to SOHR sources, the son of the deceased incited his friend to strangle his mother with a rope to death and stole gold jewellery and a sum of money.

According to sources, the son was at odds with his mother, because he was a drug addict, and because of his attempt to take over her home.

Days earlier, SOHR sources reported that a group of people killed a 60-year-old woman in Tab Al-Jawrah neighbourhood in Deir Ezzor city. Uncertainty surrounds the circumstances of the crime, while investigations were underway.

This came as a part of the escalating security chaos in regime-controlled areas.
