To drive them to “compulsory service” | Security services arrest several young men in Al-Mayadin

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that the “Military Security” and the “Criminal Security” members launched an arrest campaign at checkpoints at the entrances of Al-Mayadin city “the capital of Iranian militias” in eastern Deir Ezzor countryside, where young men wanted for “compulsory service” were arrested. Moreover, the campaign targeted motorbikes and prohibited the use of motorbikes in the city.

It is worth noting that the regime security services stop several young men wanted for the “compulsory service” in several areas in Syria, with the last incident being against 94 young men today in Deir Ezzor and other areas.

On November 20, SOHR sources reported seeing regime security service and military police having been put on high alert at the entrances of Deir Ezzor city, as well as deployment of checkpoints and patrols, searching for young people who passed their date of joining the mandatory service to regime’s security branches.
