Two separate incidents | Young man kil-led and another injured by unknown gunmen in Daraa

Daraa province: SOHR activists have reported that a young man “pharmacist” was shot dead in front of his house by unidentified gunmen in Jamla town in western Daraa countryside.

On the same context, a young man was injured when unidentified gunmen directly shot him in Al-Mazirib town in western Daraa countryside. It is worth noting that the young man is working in an “electronics” store and does not belong to any faction.

Since early 2022, the number of attacks documented by SOHR in Daraa province has risen to 493, which left 460 people dead; and they are as follows:

• 209 civilians, including five women and 11 children.

• 164 regime military personnel, “collaborators” with security services and members with settled-status working for regime services and backed militias.

• 43 former fighters who did not join any military formation, after striking reconciliation deals.

• 30 ex-ISIS members and members accused of “belonging to ISIS cells.”

• Nine unidentified people.

• Five militiamen of the Russian-backed 5th Corps.
