Delayed distribution of diesel | Mass resignation by members of “Kominat” in Al-Raqqa

Al-Raqqa province: all members of “Al-Kominat” in Al-Karama area in eastern Al-Raqqa countryside have resigned, due to the delay in distribution of diesel for families in the area, by the “Autonomous Administration.”

According to reliable SOHR sources, several members of “Al-Kominat” in the neighbourhoods of Al-Raqqa and villages in the countryside complain of not receiving the share of families with subsidized prices, where the “Autonomous Administration” provides families with annual shares for (diesel – gas – Kaz).

“Al-Komin” was established by the “Autonomous Administration” and councils of the neighbourhoods and villages were formed, and they are concerned with the living situation of the families, according to registration and documentation carried out by the “neighbourhood Komin” to communicate with organizations to distribute bread, heating allowances and rescue materials.

Most of the cities and regions of NE Syria are suffering from a severe crisis of heating fuel due to the delay in the distribution process, amid a state of resentment on the part of the people due to the severe cold, while the price of a liter of fuel oil reached 1,800 Syrian pounds.
