Joint patrol | Russian military police cancel patrol with Turkish forces in Kobani

Russian military police cancelled a joint patrol with Turkish forces for the third week in a row due to the military escalation in the region.

The joint patrol was scheduled to be conducted in the western countryside of Ain Al-Arab (Kobani).

Meanwhile, Turkish forces artillery shelled the villages of Khan, Karmagh and Koran in the eastern countryside of Kobani.

Syrian Observatory activists also reported an exchange of shelling between the “SDF” and Turkish forces on several areas in the countryside of Ain Issa, north of Al-Raqqah.

Clashes and exchange shelling erupted overnight Saturday and Sunday morning, between Tel Tamr military council forces under command “SDF,” and Turkish-backed factions following an attempt to infiltrate by Turkish-backed factions on the frontline of Umm Al-Kif in Tel Tamr countryside, north of Al-Hasakah.

The Turkish-backed factions withdrew. No further details were reported about the number of casualties and material damages so far. Otherwise, tense calm prevails in the rest areas of north-eastern Syria for the sixth consecutive day.
