Second convoy in a week | Coalition reinforcement arrives in Al-Hasakah
Al-Hasakah province: SOHR sources have reported that a new military convoy of 40 vehicles of the International Coalition has arrived in north-east Syria region, after having crossed Al-Waleed crossing on the Syria border with Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The convoy, which comprised US armoured “Bradley” vehicles, armoured vehicles, radar systems, tank carries and trucks carrying logistical supplies, headed to the Coalition’s bases in Tel Baydar and Al-Shaddadi in Al-Hasakah countryside.
On December 4, SOHR activists reported that “International Coalition” forces brought a new military convoy to areas in NE Syria through “Al-Walid crossing”, coming from Kurdistan Iraq region.
The convoy comprised 60 trucks carrying logistic materials and fuel tanks, where the convoy headed towards “International Coalition” bases in Al-Hasakah province.
This coincided with the ongoing Turkish threats to start a new incursion into areas in north and east Syria, amid direct threats against US forces, which were manifested in the Turkish airstrikes on Istrahet Wazir base.
