Amid flights by Russian fighter jets | Regime forces renew shelling villages in “de-escalation zone”

SOHR sources have reported heavy artillery fire by regime forces on the villages of Kafr Ammah and Al-Qasr in the western countryside of Aleppo, within the “de-escalation zone.”

Meanwhile, regime forces shelled positions in the frontline of Kabana in Jabal Al-Akrad in northern Latakia and the villages of Sfuhen, Al-Fterah and Al-Bara in Jabal Al-Zawiyah in the southern countryside of Aleppo. However, no casualties have been reported.

This coincides with flights by Russian fighter jets over the region since morning.

Yesterday, Observatory activists documented the death of two members of Al-Sahiliyah Division, the injury of two others and the capture of another in an ambush carried out by regime forces on Al-Tuffahiyah frontline in Latakia countryside.

A day earlier, SOHR sources reported that regime forces executed a sneak operation on military checkpoints of “Al-Fath Al-Mubin” operation room on Sahl Al-Ghab frontline in western Hama countryside, where clashes erupted between both sides and led to the death of an HTS member and a regime soldier.
