Dispute over stolen items | Four Iranian-backed Syrian militiamen injured in clashes in Al-Bokmal

Deir Ezzor province: Four Iranian-backed Syrian militiamen were injured in a quarrel that erupted due to a dispute over furniture stolen from an uninhabited house in Al-Bokamal city in Deir Ezzor countryside yesterday.

It is worth noting the militiamen were drunk during the clashes.

Members operating under the banner of Iranian-backed militias encroach on laws and regulations amid a lack of accountability due to widespread corruption and nepotism.

On December 9, SOHR sources reported that influential officials in the regime’s security services asked the families of three prisoners, who had worked for Iranian-backed militias and were involved in the drug business, to pay large sums of money in return for their release.

According to SOHR sources, the officials asked for 500,000,000 SYP in return for the release of a prisoner known by his initials as S. Q. who was arrested in Al-Bokamal, a similar sum of money in return for the release of a prisoner known as N. M. who was arrested in Damascus and 350,000,000 SYP in return for the release of a prisoner known as A. A. who was arrested also in Al-Bokamal.
