Turkish shelling | Civilian ki-lled in Al-Raqqah countryside

Al-Raqqah province: A 61-year-old civilian from the eastern countryside of Ain Issa died of injuries he sustained yesterday in heavy and light weapons shelling by Turkish forces of villages adjacent to the frontlines in the countryside of Tel Abyad and Ain Issa district.

It is worth noting that the man was hit by shelling while tilling his land. The man is a resident of Hawija village, seven kilometres to the east of Al-Hisha town in Ain Issa district in Al-Raqqah countryside.

On December 7, SOHR activists reported heavy artillery shelling by Turkish forces on the villages of Zurmghar and Tel Shair in the countryside of Ain Al-Arab (Kobani), in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, and Qartel village in the countryside of Tel Abyad, north of Al-Raqqah, leaving no human casualties.
