Joint patrol | Turkish and Russian forces tour rural Al-Darbasiyah and Amuda north of Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: This morning, Russian and Turkish forces conducted a joint patrol in Al-Darbasiyah and Amuda, north of Al-Hasakah. This comes after Turkish forces had cancelled the last patrol.

According to SOHR activists, the patrol of eight Russian and Turkish military vehicles has set off from Sherik village, west of Al-Darbasiyah, amid a flight by two Russian helicopters over the area.

The joint patrol has toured the villages of Delik, Salam Alik, Quneitra, Al-Sheikh Mansour, Tel Kadish, Ghanamiyeh, Karbatli, Jadida and Tel Karma.

Meanwhile, some civilians in Karbatli village threw stones at Turkish vehicles, refusing to pass through their village.

The patrol has then headed to the villages of Tal Tiri, Khaski, Mudawara, Abu Jaradi, Kharza, Khanki and Bahirah, villages in the western countryside of Amuda.
The patrol then returned to Sherik village.

It is worth noting that Turkish forces have refrained from conducting joint patrols with Russian forces after aerial and ground bombardments carried out by Turkish forces for nearly two weeks since November 19.

Turkish forces targeted oil wells, wheat silos, infrastructure, and other SDF posts, other areas in Deir Ezzor countryside and the perimeter of Al-Hawl camp.
