18th day of alarming calm | Turkish forces shell three villages in Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces and their proxies fired heavy artillery shells on positions within SDF-held areas in Al-Hasakah countryside, where the shells hit Al-Kozlaih, Tel Al-Laban and Tawela villages in Tel Tamr countryside northern of Al-Hasakah. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

This comes in light of the ongoing alarming calm in areas in NE Syria for 18 days, where the intensity of attacks and Turkish ground shelling has significantly decreased on areas and countryside of Aleppo, Al-Raqqa and Al-Hasakah except for some shells hitting the frontlines, while all frontlines are witnessing complete calmness.

It is worth noting that the relative calmness started on November 28, after days of violent military aerial and ground escalation by Turkish forces on most areas.
