After 2 years of executing them, a footage shows a Shabbih (a man who support the regime) torturing them in the countryside of Tartous

 

 

SOHR received a footage shows a member in the pro-regime armed committees in the village of Ayn al- Sahen in the countryside of Safita torturing a man and his wife, where he was beating the man after tying him up accusing him of appearing on TVs and opposing the regime, he also slapped the man in a humiliating manner saying insults to him and his wife who was beaten too. The member asked her to insult her husband and to bray.

 

The man and his wife are from the village of al- Metras located in the countryside of the city of Tartous inhabited by Sunni Turkman, where SOHR documented their executions at the end of the first third of September in 2013, by pro-regime armed militiamen who killed them with their 2 children. The man and his wife were working in a farm near the village of Tannourin inhabited by Christians. The village of al- Metras witnessed in October 2013, clashes between the regime forces and allied militiamen against rebel and Islamist factions that led to kill dozens of the village people.
