Yesterday, members of Abu Haidar, the brother of the leader of the Deir Ezzor military council, Abu Khawla, have tortured and killed two women and dropped their bodies in Al-Sour desert area in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor.
The armed men killed the two women three days after their arrest, in retaliation against their relative, a young man called “Jihad Al-Munir.”
According to sources, the young man, Jihad Al-Munir, was abducted by members of the commander of Deir Ezzor military council, Abu Khawla, and his brother.
The young man was brutally tortured and had his ears cut off during a day of abduction as the young man was accused of having a relationship with the commander’ sister, and after he was released and his personal phone was kept, they found out that there were pictures of their sister on the young man’ phone.
The armed men raided the homes of the young man’s relatives and kidnapped two women.
The members abducted two young men from Al-Muhaimidah town in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, relatives of the young man and took the abductees to the house of Abu Haidar in Al-Sour area, tortured them and then released the young men and kept the two women.
The two women were beaten, tortured and completely stripped.
Abu Haidar and his brother, the commander of the Deir Ezzor military council, Abu Khawla, refused tribal mediation to release the two women, and three days later the two women’s bodies were found with shots in the head.
