After conducting Russian-Turkish patrol | Turkish forces shell six villages in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani)

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that Turkish forces and their proxies shelled villages in eastern Aleppo countryside, where heavy artillery shells hit Jishan and Qoran villages in eastern Ain Al-Arab countryside. Moreover, shells hit Jarikly, Softak, Zor Maghar and Shiyokh Fokany villages in western Ain Al-Arab countryside. However, no casualties have been reported yet.

This comes one day after conducting the first joint patrol since the Turkish escalation in Ain Al-Arab “Kobani”, after the Turkish forces refused several times, where the Russian Military Police and Turkish forces conducted a joint patrol in western Kobany countryside yesterday, with two Russian helicopters.

This coincided with the ongoing alarming calm in areas in NE of Syria for 20 days, where the intensity of attacks and Turkish ground shelling reduced significantly on areas of Aleppo, Al-Raqqa and Al-Hasakah countryside, except for some shells intermittently hitting the frontlines.

Turkish forces fired heavy artillery shells on Zor Maghar and Tel Sha’ir villages in Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) countryside in eastern Aleppo countryside, in addition to Qartal village in Tel Abyad countryside northern of Al-Raqqa.
