Leader of Deir Ezzor Military Council ask tribal dignitaries to participate in march supporting the council following thr*eats by relatives of girls ki*lled by his brother

Deir Ezzor Province: SOHR sources reported that the commander of “Deir Ezzor Military Council” “Abo Khola” issued orders to the tribes’ dignitaries in western Deir Ezzor countryside to go out in a march to support the council tomorrow morning, in light of the recent events that took place in the region after his brother was accused of participating in killing two girls in revenge for one of their relatives and dumping their bodies in the desert of Al-Sor town western of Deir Ezzor.

According to reliable SOHR sources, “Abu Khola” spoke with “Rida Al-Awad” known as “Abu Al-Hassan”, and asked him to gather civilians tomorrow at 8 am to participate in a march to support Deir Ezzor Military Council in Al-Izba town, and to raise the council’s flags, threatening him with punishment if he refuses.

Moreover, the march is to appeal to the “International Coalition” to support Deir Ezzor Military Council, demanding that no one from the tribes’ dignitaries, youth, children and women be absent from it, and also asked the tribes’ dignitaries through Abu Al-Hassan” that each one of them would bring 60 other people to increase the number of people in the march to thousands.

Earlier today, a number of armed men, relatives of the two girls killed a few days ago by the brother of the commander of the Deir Ezzor military council, Abu Khawla, blocked a road in Hawaij Boumasa’a village in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor with soil barriers.

The gunmen threatened Abu Khawla, the commander of the Deir Ezzor Military Council, and “Abu Ali Dushka,” in retaliation for the killing of the two girls.
According to SOHR activists, the gunmen blocked a road in the village amid tension in the area.
