Turkish bombardment | Four civilians injured in attack on water shop west of Ain Al-Arab (Kobani) east of Aleppo
Aleppo province: Four civilians working in a water shop were seriously injured by artillery shells by Turkish forces on water shop in Zor Maghar, west of Ain Al-Arab, in the eastern countryside of Aleppo this afternoon, SOHR activists reported.
The injured people were transferred to Ain Al-Arab Hospital for treatment.
This coincided with the ongoing cautious calm that prevails in all areas in northern and eastern Syria, for 22 days, as the intensive ground and aerial bombardment on the areas and countryside of Aleppo, Al-Raqqah and Al-Hasakah by Turkish forces have dramatically declined, except for some rockets and shells that hit the frontlines.
On December 20, SOHR activists reported that Turkish forces and their proxies shelled villages in eastern Aleppo countryside, where heavy artillery shells hit Jishan and Qoran villages in eastern Ain Al-Arab countryside. Moreover, shells hit Jarikly, Softak, Zor Maghar and Shiyokh Fokany villages in western Ain Al-Arab countryside. However, no casualties were reported.
