Third case in 24 hours | Residents find bo*dy of newborn baby in Autonomous Administration areas

Aleppo province: SOHR activists have reported that residents have found the body of an unidentified newborn baby dumbed in Al-Hazawna neighbourhood in Manbij city in eastern Aleppo countryside within SDF-held areas.

This is the third case in 24 hours within SDF-held areas where residents found an unidentified newborn girl that was abandoned for unknown reasons dumbed in Al-Rashid garden near Al-Tawlid hospital in Al-Raqqa city.

Yesterday, SOHR activists reported that a car driver found a newborn baby dumbed behind the tires of his car in the field of the National Hospital within SDF-held areas in Al-Hasakah countryside.
According to reliable SOHR sources, the baby was taken to the hospital after it was revealed that the baby was being suffocated before being dumbed behind the car tires.
According to SOHR statistics, this is the 39th case of abandoned new-born babies since early 2022 with 22 cases documented in regime-controlled areas and 17 documented in SDF-controlled areas.
