Deir Ezzor province: Residents of the villages of Muhaymidah, Hawayij, Al-Bosam’a, Sferah and Al-Hesan, including people from “Al-Bakarah” tribe, staged a sit-in protest and set fire to rubber tyres, blocking streets. The protestors called for holding accountable the murderers of the two girls in Al-Suwar town in Deir Ezzor countryside.

It is worth noting that villages and towns in Deir Ezzor countryside have witnessed protests for three consecutive days over the death of two girls by the brother of the head of Deir Ezzor Military Council “Abu Khawla.”
