Joint exercises | International Coalition and SDF exercise in Koniko gas field

Deir Ezzor province: SOHR activists have reported that International Coalition forces and SDF conducted joint exercises with heavy machineguns in the vicinity of Koniko gas field, which is used by the International Coalition as a military base, amid flight of helicopters and drones over the region, to raise the fighting readability and gain experience.

This comes in light of the repeated military exercises by the International Coalition forces in its bases in NE Syria.

On December 17, SOHR activists reported that explosions were heard in the vicinity of Al-Omar Oil Field, which is used by the “International Coalition” forces as a military base, caused by military exercises, amid flight of planes over the region.

It is worth noting that Al-Omar Oil Field base is the largest “International Coalition” base in Syria.
