Idlib’s demonstrations | HTS security service attack protesters

Idlib province: Members of the General Security service of Hayyat Tahrir Al-Sham severely beat a number of demonstrators in Idlib after demanding that they open fronts with the regime forces, and rejected the Turkish rapprochement with the regime.

According to Syrian Observatory for Human Rights activists, members of the General Security service prevented the demonstrators from raising some banners and chants calling for weapons to be withdrawn from factions that refuse to open fronts, and forcibly dispersed protesters.

A few hours earlier, people staged angry demonstrations and protests in northern Syria, setting off from the cities and towns of Idlib, Azaz, Marea, Souran, Akhtarin, Shepherd, Qabasin, Bazaa, Al-Bab, Jarablus and Al-Ghandoura on Friday under the name of “We die, but will not reconcile with Al-Assad” rejecting the meeting between Turkey’s defence minister and his Syrian counterpart in Moscow.
