Dispute over “human smuggling” | Young man shot d-ead by 20th Division in peace spring areas of Al-Hasakah

Al-Hasakah province: A young man was shot dead by members of the 20th Division of Turkish-backed Ahrar Al-Sharqiyyah faction, in Aziza area of Ras Al-Ain west countryside within the “Peace Spring” areas of Al-Hasakah, due to a dispute between faction members over smuggling people into Turkey from the “Peace Spring” areas.

According to Syrian Observatory sources, the young man was cooperating with members of the “National Army” factions, in particular Ahrar Al-Sharqiyyah faction, in order to facilitate human smuggling at the Syrian and Turkish borders in exchange for huge sums of money.

On December 27, local sources reported that Al-Sultan Murad members smuggled the killed of child Muhammed Ismail Abdy Al-Shaihan, who was shot dead by a member of Al-Sultan Murad “Muhammed Khalifa”, where he was smuggled from Tel Abyad prison to Ras Al-Ain city after residents and tribes demanded that the murdered be handed over.

The child belonged to Al-Mashhor tribe and Al-Bakara tribe, and lived in Tel Abyad in northern Al-Raqqa countryside.

Moreover, people set fire to the cotton mill in a village near Tel Abyad, causing huge fire to break out.
